The waterways around Zwartsluis form a direct connection to the Frisian Lakes region. Follow the so-called ‘Turf route’ and sail past Ossenzijl towards Sloten, IJlst, Sneek, Akrum and beyond to explore the waters of Friesland.

De Kranerweerd Full-Service Marina is directly situated along the Meppelerdiep waterway. From here, you can simply head east to explore the eastern part of the country. Travel through Hoogeveen to Coevorden and Gramsbergen and continue your journey along the Twentekanaal through the Twente province.
